My Medium: Watercolours
Although I use almost every medium available on the market today to create, I prefer working with watercolours. Although it is not the easiest of mediums, it is versatile, clean, expressionistic, and a constant challenge! The end results are always a surprise, for watercolours are individualistic and have a mind of their own, very much like me!
My Background
Originally from South Africa, but now living in the United Kingdom, my life has always been filled with beautiful memories, interesting experiences and outdoor adventures. I grew up in a creative family and love to express those special moments and times in my life with my art.
My Inspiration
Life is my inspiration. Seeing and experiencing different cultures, landscapes and everything beautiful and extraordinary makes me reach for my pencils, brushes and paint. I always search for hidden love, hope and peace in every situation and want to tell a good story about it with my art; recreating line, light, depth, colour, balance and emotion.
